Weston really enjoys stories about a dog named Biscuit.
"This is Biscuit. Biscuit is yellow. Biscuit is small."
It goes on for many many pages:
"Time for bed Biscuit. Woof woof. Biscuit wants a snack... or drink or hug or story, etc." While the little girl (aka Biscuit's mom) puts him to bed.
We recently started reading another book called "Teeny, Tiny Mouse: A Book About Colors."
"Can you name the colors in our teeny tiny house, said the teeny tiny mommy to the teeny tiny mouse?" Every room in their teeny tiny house has teeny tiny objects of a different color.
There is a little girl on the last page of this book. This morning Weston pointed at her and said "Biscuit's mom." I looked at the picture and said, "Yes that does look like the little girl in Biscuit." But then I looked closely and picked up the Biscuit book and it was done by the SAME ILLUSTRATOR.
Remarkable!
